Bhagsu Waterfalls, Himachal Pradesh

A popular idiom states that “Fruits of patience is always sweet”, this holds so very true in the case of the destination, Bhagsu Waterfall. The reason you need to have the patience to reach this place is that you need to climb more than 100 steps, which is quite tiring; however, the crowd is so enthusiastic that the time just passes by, and you are there at the waterfall in no time. On the way, you will not find any water stalls or restaurants. There’s just one eating joint on the way that serves Maggi, tea, cold drink, and it is a good idea to stop there for refreshments.

On reaching the Bhagsu waterfall, you need to trek to the place, where you actually feel the water pouring over you from a great height. It feels like heaven to be standing beneath the fountain of water that is so clean, pure and cold. At the summer season, the town itself is filled with so many tourists that you will not be able to enjoy any site in McLeod Ganj which is why, although it is very cold in the winters, this is the time when you should actually choose to visit the town of McLeod Ganj, as well as the Bhagsu waterfall. They have their private hotels by the name of Bhagsu itself, where you enjoy a peaceful stay; however, make sure to make the booking at least 6 months prior to your trip so that you get what you need.
