Champawati Kunda or the Chapnalla Falls is located in the Nagaon district of Assam, a North East state of India. It is near to the historic place of Kaliabor. The waterfall is located in the Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary. The first thing to notice while visiting to the Champawati Kunda is the serene and mystical waterfall. This may bring one close to the nature. The place is a popular picnic spot and attracts huge crowd in the months of October – February. That time is most favourable to visit as post monsoon the rivers are filled and the waterfall can be sighted at its best. There are some nearby places which can be explored while visiting Champawati Kunda. They are Kaliabor, Agnigarh Temple, Da – Parbatia, Mahabhairav Temple and the Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary.
