Hinglaj Mata Temple, Balochistan, Pakistan

Hinglaj Mata Temple, also known simply as Hingula Devi, Hinglaj Devi and Nani Mandir falls amongst one of the 51 Shakti Peethas Temples. Having a bit of history associated with it and being an ardent place of worship for the devotees make this temple a great one indeed.

Over the past few years this place has attained some prolific popularity. The Hinglaj Mata temple is located in Pakistan’s Lasbela district of Balochistan. It is believed that Hinglaj Mata is an extremely powerful deity who bestows good and well being to all her devotees.

The shrine of the Hinglaj Mata temple is in a small curve cave. It is very interesting to note and thereby definitely mention worthy here in this context that there is no idol of the deity but instead it is a shapeless stone that is being worshipped as Hing Mata. Some other places of worship around the temple are Mata Kali, Ganesh Deva, Tir Kundh, Braham Kudh, Chandra Goop, etc. While the main temple of worship for Hinglaj is this one, there are some other temples dedicated to her as well in the neighbouring Indian states of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
