Solang Nullah, Himachal Pradesh

Solang Nullah, also known as the Solang Valley, is one of the most famous tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh. The Solang Nullah gets its name from the word – Solang (the adjacent village) and Nullah (water stream). The valley is nearby two of the most visited destinations in the state of Himachal Pradesh namely, Kullu and Manali. Heavy snowfall is observed in Solang Valley during winters and a lot of ski agencies use this time for businesses such as ski lessons and training them in various adventure sports.

In summers, the sports are replaced by paragliding, zorbing, horse riding, and parachuting. Giant slopes of lush green lawns are an attraction to the thousands of tourists that come to Solang Valley to enjoy their time. There is also a Ski Himalayas Ropeway that was opened recently in the valley and makes it possible for the tourists to reach the summit not just by trekking but also through the ropeway. While the valley has chilly summers with the highest temperature of around 25 degrees, in the month of May, the winters are equally cold in the valley with the lowest temperature being recorded as -12 degree Celsius.

The Solang Nullah is not visited by many tourists and is yet to be explored which is why this is the best time for you to head straight into the valley, setup a camp in the woods, sit by the fire, and eat roasted marshmallows. If you wait any longer, it can lead to the amazing place being flocked by tourists at every corner. Every traveller must visit the Solang Valley on their tour to Himachal Pradesh.
