Tajpur beach stands between Shankarpur and Mandarmani, falls mostly in Purba Medinipur. As compared to other beach destinations in West Bengal, Tajpur is relatively less inhabited. From there the travel to the beach is for 15 minutes. And if you choose to take the route via car, then you have to take the Vidyasagar Setu followed by the Kona expressway. It is almost a 4 hours journey via car from Kolkata.
