Mouling National Park, Arunachal Pradesh

The Mouling national park in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh was created in the year 1986 and is covered with forested mountains which adds to the beauty of the park. This picturesque park is again a great biodiversity park with different landscapes. There are many beautiful and rare species of plants and animals found in this park with home to python, barking deer, tigers, elephants hog deer and to specially mention the rare red panda and besides animals, there are several species of birds, herbs and plants alsowhich can be seen here. The molding national park is a famous spot among the tourists, trekkers, and explorers who can indulge themselves into a variety of activities like rafting, trekking, and angling. It is a very isolated area and the nearest towns from the park are Pasighat and Along and transportation means are not very regular. The weather in the Mouling National park is usually humid in most of the year around but higher region experiences snowfall in the winter season.

The Mouling national park is strictly reserved area for the betterment of wildlife and biodiversity so the activities like forestry, poaching, and hunting are not allowed in this area and it is under sharp vigilance of forest department. This park is one of the 18 biodiversity parks in the world and is also known for three varieties of goat and antelope found there which are locally known as Coral, Takin, and serow. The nearest railway station to Mouling National park is Tinsukia and the nearest airport is Dibrugarh airport.
