Baba Dhansar, Jammu and Kashmir

Baba Dhansar is the temple of Lord Shiva, and has a beautiful waterfall that has a dark blue hue. The place is known for its caves, and the all-natural beautiful structure that it has. The place is still untouched and is still has a raw natural beauty to it. This is the reason why it is highly recommended for people to visit this destination. If you want to see the actual charm of Shivratri, then this is the place to be at.

The waterfall falls from a good height into a pool of water that also has a blue hue. Baba Dhansar was a true devotee of Lord Shiva and Goddess Vaishno Devi. The temple was built in his memory and to celebrate the dedication he had for these gods. The caves aren’t man made. One can easily decipher that the caves have been built by a true wonder of nature. The presence of divine power and a spiritual aura can still be felt inside the caves.

Rainy season is a bit risky due to the landslides that the place has, which is why the preferred time to visit the Baba Dhansar temple are summer, spring and winter. The crystal-clear water can hypnotise you because there are very rare places that have such beautiful and clean water bodies. Do not miss out on this place while taking a trek to Vaishno Devi because it is still an explicit example of Mother Nature and one does not get to see that quite often nowadays. It is thus a must visit place indeed when you are in the city of Katra or Reasi, especially if you are a devotee of Lord Shiva, which is again goes quite without saying in fact.
