The Birla Mandir of Hyderabad is devoted to Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala Tirupati Temples. There are innumerable Birla mandirs all over India and are built by the Birla itself. The construction of Birla Mandir was a whisk of both North and South Indian way of architecture. The inside of the temple has pictures depicting the life and works of Lord Shiva. This palace is an ideal place for the one’s who are in search for peace of mind. This palace is built on top a hill and the breath-taking view from the top is worth remembrance. The walls of the temples portray instances from the Mahabharata and Ramayana. Not only this, the temple is a home to shrines of many notable religious figures.

It is said about 2000+ tons of marbles were used to build this temple over a ten years of period. Well, the beauty and gracefulness that the Birla temple has surely defines the long wait. For the shutter-bugs this place strictly prohibits photography. For each of the visitors, free locker facility is provided to keep their belongings.

Both rail, road and air transportation are available to reach this place. If you are coming by air, then you have to get off at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and from there you can hire a taxi to the Mandir, which is roughly 28 kilometers. By rail, the Nampally Railway station is the closest. From there you can either take a cab or bus. The distance is roughly 12.7 kilometers. On road, you have to get off at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus station.

Timings

Birla Mandir Hyderabad is open at 07:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and then from 02:00 PM to 09:00 PM.
