Chakratirth Beach, Daman and Diu
The Chakratirth Beach in Diu is another beach which is quite different and has an important myth attached to it. It is said that this was the same beach where the monster Jalandhar was killed by the help of Lord Vishnu, with his Sudharshan chakra, hence the beach was named as Chakratirth. Hence, this beach is considered to be one of the most important of all beaches where Lord Vishnu had come to help the war between Lord Shiva and Jalandhar.

The whole place is quite serene and has lots of other attractions nearby which make it all the more popular. There are a few temples nearby too. The best time to visit is during winter, that is, from October to March.
