Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is one of the best examples when it comes to showcasing the beauty of medieval time’s temples and architecture. This temple is located in the Chhatarpur district, in Khajuraho, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Since Khajuraho was the capital for the Chandela dynasty, the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple was built by the rulers of the Chandela dynasty. This temple is being reserved by the Indian government along with UNESCO as it is one of the oldest and largest temples in India. Even though many idols of gods and goddesses are present in the temple, Lord Shiva is considered as the chief deity of the temple.

Entry Fees
35 INR per Indians (Including SAARC & BIMSTEC Tourists) and 550 INR per Foreigners and Childs up to 15 years is free of cost.
