The Kodandarama Temple is considered to be one of the famous religious sites in Andhra Pradesh. The Kodandarama temple has a well-known belief attached along with it. It is said that the temple was built in one day by the loyal devotees of Bhagwavijn Sri Ram. The temple has a total of thirty-two pillars. These pillars were modified to statutes. The Kodandarama temple celebrates the auspicious Sri Seeta Rama Kalyanam during the night. This 16th century temple has been appreciated by the famous French traveller, Tavernier. The architecture of this temple was outlined by the Cholas and Vijayanagara rulers. You can choose from their list of Poojas ranging from INR 50 - INR 25000. Urdu and Telugu are the main languages spoken by the localities.

Accessibility : You can reach the Kodandarama temple either by bus, train or cab. By bus, you have to take the Kadapa-Tirupathi bus route which passes through Vontimitta. There are frequent bus services along this route by the APSRTC. If you come by train, then there are four stations where you can get off namely Vontimitta station, Bhakarapet station, Kadapa station and Tirupati station. By air, the nearest airport will be the Kadapa Airport. Closest International Airport will be Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
