Pachmarhi hill station, situated in the Hoshangabad district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is a beautiful hill station in the Satpura ranges and is very often also known as the “Queen of Satpura Ranges”. It happens to be the only hill station of the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated at an elevation of 1067 feet offering total sereneness and tranquillity to the visitors and tourists. It is in fact a very large plateau encircled by the lofty Satpura hill range. This great hill resort which is saucer shaped was founded by the British officer Captain Forsyth.
