Tazia Tower is a 5 stories monument with end number of balconies where all the designs were hand carved into the monument. Tazia Tower located on top of the Badal Palace in Jaisalmer, this tower is known for its architecture. It is one of the major tourist attraction sites in Jaisalmer. This tower was constructed according to the Islamic architecture, therefore the name Tazia (Tomb carrying various Islamic festivals) was given to the tower. The balconies and the tower were hand-carved by the designers into various patterns and designs. This tower is located beside the Amar Sagar Gate, on top of Badal Palace which was considered as the home for the Royal Family of Udaipur. This tower is a replica of the Tazias present in the Islamic country.

The structure of the Tazia is made out of wood thermocol and coloured papers and was later carved into the Islamic and Indian designs. Each balcony has a different design and is considered as a unique balcony as no design is even slightly similar to each other. Tourists from various states and countries visit this tower to enjoy the beauty of each design in the balcony and at the same time enjoy the view of the city from the tower. People who are visiting Badal Palace or Amar Sagar gate should definitely view the Tazia Tower as it is different from the Rajputana architecture style which is present in various places across the city.
