Rajasthan is the western most state of India. The state of Rajasthan is bordered by Pakistan on the west, Gujarat in the south, Punjab in the North and Madhya Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh in the east. The state of Rajasthan is the land of desert as the Great Thar Desert of Indian sub continent lays in these parts. The tourists of the state are amazed by the royal architecture of this land. The desert mountain forts as designated by the UNESCO are a part of world heritage convention. The forts which are famous for tourist attraction are the Chiitorgarh Fort, Jaisalmer Fort, Jodhpur Fort and many more. The palaces of Udaipur and Jaipur are also very famous. The lakes of the Udaipur and the Thar Desert are particularly famous along with the majestic of the Aravalli Mountains.
