Ubbalamadugu falls, which is also known as Tada Falls, is located in North of Sricity and Oneness temple, in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, India. The waterfall has a total height of 100 meters and the crystal clear water has made it one of the most exotic spots for tourist and especially trekkers. The states that it falls under are Buchinaidukandriga and Varadaiahpalemmandals. The reason the waterfall is famous amongst the trekkers is that it is located on the fringe of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, and it is close to Chennai.
Situated in Siddulaiah Kona forest, the most common time to visit the waterfall is during Shivratri. The eternal beauty of lush greenery encompassing the surrounding amidst the mesmerising waterfall is spectacular. The ideal time to visit the waterfall is from October to February. The waterfall falls into the dense forest giving the best of the nature walk, which is also one of the reasons it is preferred by trek enthusiasts. The Ubbalamadugu falls also has a natural swimming pool safe to swim and rest for trekkers. This pool area is preferred by families for enjoying their picnic.
Pulikat Lake and Kalki Oneness temple are usually clubbed together while visiting the famous Ubbalamadugu falls. The terrains that surround the rugged beauty, rocky path and lush forest with adjacent streams, is startling. One can only imagine the eternal beauty nature has hidden within itself.
