Vanganga Lake Garden, Daman and Diu
The Vanganga Lake Garden in Silvassa in Daman and Diu is one of the most beautiful gardens in the country. This garden is the personification of beauty and gorgeousness. This place offers a serene ambience where one could easily spend a day in relaxation and enjoy, thereby making it a perfect weekend picnic spot. It is filled with flowers and various types of trees. It is also a favourite place for bird watchers in the winter as many different types of birds migrate here in that season. There is a huge lake in the middle of the garden where one can go for boating and enjoy. There are paddle boats and rowing boats, one can choose from the either and enjoy the ride.
There are lines of trees around the lake which again provides a very soothing and calming view. There are also various grand fountains in the garden which makes the air cooler and is a treat to sit and watch. There are also jogging tracks around which attracts those who want to be in shape and also enjoy the nature without going to the gym and losing it in an artificial way. The garden in no doubt is a famous picnic spot too with people always trying to find a space in the evening to sit and enjoy the breeze. The place is so aesthetic that there were many Bollywood songs which are shot here, sometimes films are shot here too. The Vanganga Lake Garden has now become a bit crowded owing to its huge popularity and hence might not be as pleasing as it used to be before in the beginning.
