Bala Hanuman Temple is one of the most enlightened pilgrimage destinations in the entire Gujarat state alongside the Dwarakadhish Temple which is visited by millions of devotees all-round the year coming from all across the country and from abroad. This temple is an expression of fervent devotion and it is believed that the great monkey lord showers his blessing on all and offers his protection over everyone, regardless of their religion or caste & creed. The full name of this temple is Shri Bala Hanuman Srikirtan Mandir.

With this sentiment as the core, the temple is built for the safeguard of the people. The Bala Hanuman Temple is situated on the lakeside boulevard of the Lakhota Lake. Being at the heart of the Jamnagar City, this shrine is the most honored place of worship in the region. The statues inside the sanctum sanctorum are in plural numbers. There are two sets of idols- one has Lord ram, Lady Sita, Lord Laxman and Lord Hanuman and the other section holds the Bala Hanuman incarnation of Lord Hanuman. The Lord Ram Dhun or chanting of Lord Ram’s name in synchronized symphony is a never-ending ritual for this temple which is continuing since the inception of the temple, long back. This ritual has been enlisted in the Guinness World Records. It is said that this chanting prevent calamities from happing because the Lord protects his devotees through it.
