This museum was designed according to the Indo-Saracenic Architecture, by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and by Mir Tujumool Hoosein in the year 1876 and was completed in the year 1887. This museum is also considered as the Government Central Museum and the Government of the state Rajasthan are maintaining the Museum along with the artefacts. Exquisite and antique jewellery, paintings, sculptures, stones like marble, ivory, crystal and more can also be found in this museum. Sculptures of various gods and goddesses of the Indian religion along with other religions are also situated in this museum. The towers and the walls of the museum allow you to enjoy the beauty of the wall murals painted in various techniques like the walls are portraying a story on its own.
