Blackbuck National Park, Gujarat

Blackbuck National Park is situated in Velavadar town of Bhavnagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The Blackbuck National Park is famous for Blackbuck, the Indian antelope and open throughout the year. However, it is best to visit it during the monsoons and winters. The park is quite open and has many flora and fauna spread across the land. Many animals can be found in the park. Wild Pigs, rodents and even hares can be found in the Blackbuck national park, although the latter is hard to locate due to their camouflage nature. The area of the park is quite vast and extrinsic. With the mixture of saline lands, grasslands and marshlands, the park is one of the most unique in India.

Many birds can also be found in the park’s enclosure. These birds often harbor in the forest after migrating long-distance flights. Sandgrouse and larks have often been seen building nests in the jungle. The park is enclosed by agricultural fields, which also acts as the boundaries of the park. Herds of antelope can be seen in the jungle, which makes it an immediate attraction point for the visitors.

20 INR (Adult) / 10 INR (Child) per Indian Tourists and 5 USD per Foreign Tourists.

400 INR per vehicle for Indians up to 6 persons and 20 USD per vehicle for Foreigners up to 6 persons

If visitors opt own vehicle to roam around the park guide will be Compulsory - 400 INR per vehicle for Indians and 20 USD per vehicle for Foreigners.
