Cola Beach, Goa

Cola beach is now one of the famous tourist spots in Goa. This beach state of India is quite an entertaining & relaxing destination for tourist from all across India and also from abroad. Goa has a lot of history, art & culture and natural beauty to mesmerize the people with, but the beach life of this state takes the top spot in the tourism chart. The Cola beach is located in the southern parts of Goa, at the neck of the Canacona expanse. The beach is a hidden pearl of Goa tourism.

This little known off beat crescent beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole state. It is so secluded that it almost feels like visiting a privately owned beach. The shore line is quite a boulevard bordered by the dense foliage of palm & coconut tree lots along with some of the wild bushes. The white sand beach running between the blue sea waters and the green vegetation and the hilly topography of this beach enlivens the picturesque feel of the whole place manifolds. The nearby paddy fields and the free flowing cool breeze compliment the hued scenery of the nature. There are a couple of bays divided by a hillock in and around the Cola beach. The smaller of the two beaches is called the Little Cola beach and the whole beach is sometimes called Khola beach, coined after the name of the nearby stream Khola.

The lagoon is the main reason why this beach is such a star attraction among the visitors. The vista offered by the Cola hillock is an attraction for every photographers & nature lovers. The most common activities at Cola beach are swimming, sailing, boating and fishing. The lagoon water is quite serene and safe. The shacks offer refreshments and the huts offers respite. There are many established villas & hotels in the Cola beach area.
