It is famous for the celebration of the festival of ‘Shivratri’ which is just performed at the grand stage of devotion and religious rituals. This image of the holy place also conducts the fair of fifteen days at the time of Shivratri festival every year. This fair is being arranged by the local devotees and the organizers for celebrating this huge festival every year. People do fasting on this entire day and night of Shivratri and do not eat anything except fruits and offer leaves of bel tree on Shiva Linga. It is believed that on this auspicious day, Lord Shiva got married to Goddess Parvati. Monday is known as the day of the blessing of Lord Shiva.
