Laxmi Vilas Palace is a heritage hotel located in Vadodara, in a state called Gujarat. This hotel is known for providing royalty like facilities to the visitors. This palace is located beside the Agra Jaipur Highway and is located near the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Many tourists who visit the sanctuary also visit the palace as it is one of a kind.

The Laxmi Vilas Palace is the most famous palace in Gujarat as it is 4 times larger than the Buckingham Palace in London. This palace was built by a Maratha Family who was known as the Gaekwad family in the year 1890. The palace was designed by Major Charles Mant and was built according to the Indo-Saracenic architecture style. The residency of the royal family is also located in the same palace but in a different complex.

Now the Laxmi Vilas Palace is used for various purposes; Banquet hall, convention centre, Museum and many buildings are located within the palace. Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum is also located within the premises and is known for possessing artefacts, paintings, sculptures, and other historic artefacts from the Maharaja Fateh Singh's reign. This museum is open to the public and many tourists visit the museum along with the palace during their stay in Vadodara. A golf course is also located within the premises of the palace; therefore a tourist will be able to enjoy a pleasant stay in the Laxmi Vilas Palace and will be able to enjoy the royalty like service in the heritage hotel.
