Mochemad Beach, Maharashtra
Mochemad Beach is a beach located in Vengurla town of Sindhudurg district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. This beach is famous for being surrounded by 200ft tall mountains and is covered by greenery. This beach is also known for organizing various water sports events where the tourists can enjoy adventure sports like swimming, surfing, jet skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, and the list goes on. This beach is very well known in Maharashtra as it is located far away from the city or the town and one would feel like they are walking on an isolated island. Therefore many tourists visit Mochemad Beach while visiting the Vengurla town.
The beach is also known for its whitish gold beach sand and soft waves of the Arabian Sea. While visiting Mochemad Beach, you can also see various fishing boats sailing towards the sea. Crabs, jellyfish, and other sea creatures can be seen at the sea along with seaweed lying around at the beach. The beach is also surrounded by various Cyprus trees and the waves of the seashore can be heard clearly from the mountains. It is hard to reach the beach as there is no proper road towards it, but one would enjoy their ride between the mountains to reach Mochemad Beach.
