Amongst the various ranges present, pilgrims have been witnessed to flock at the revered Parasnath Hills.

The hills derive their name from the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha. Parshvanatha is said to have achieved Nirvana upon these hills itself. However, he wasn’t the only one. In fact, twenty out of twenty-four Tirthankaras attained salvation upon these ranges. Such is the divinity of these hills.

For nourishment, there are numerous stalls throughout the way to procure tea, coffee, and other energizing drinks.

The most prominent time to visit this place would be in mid-April. During this time, the Santhals inhabiting the place celebrate a hunting festival on the full-moon day, capturing their raw passion. The Parasnath Hills bears great significance in the landmark of India as a whole and the reason for that is multifarious too.
