Punjab is the land of five rivers and is one of the most historic states in the country of India. The rivers named Ravi, Chenab, Sutlej, Beas and Jhelum drains the state of Punjab making it one of the most agriculturally successful one in the whole of India. The state of Punjab is located in the north western part of the country border Pakistan in the west, Jammu & Kashmir in the north, Himachal Pradesh in the east and Rajasthan in the south. There is the famous Wagha Border on the India Pakistan demarcation line and then comes the famous Sikh sanctorum of the Golden Temple. The Jallianwalabagh is also a famous tourist spot.
