The island or more specifically the group of islands off the coast of Arabian Sea located to the west of Malabar Coastal stretch from the spot of Kerala is called the Lakshadweep Islands. The Lakshadweep Islands are one of the seven Union Territories of Indian Constituency and it is one of the most decorated island tourism drives of the whole nation. The Lakshadweep Islands are in reality a set of thirty six islands with Minicoy being their capital island. The islands of Lakshadweep Islands have a coral reef like origin and thus not very habitable. Still out of the thirty six islands ten of them are populated. The special mention of this Lakshadeep Islands is that they have backwaters and thus very good for water sporting activity centre for the travelers.
The thing that attracts tourists and travelers to the Lakshadweep Islands are its blue waters, pristine sand beaches and the heavily abundant flora & fauna of this ecological hub. The places to visit is not limited to the 10 island but all of the thirty six islands. The way to commute to this Lakshadweep Islands is by cruise travels. The tourist trips extend from three to five days on a luxury all purpose cruise with occasion landfalls on any one island.
