Fugdi is Goa's folk dance is performed by Konkan ladies during Hindu religious holidays such as Ganesh Chaturthi and Vrata, or after other dances such as Dhalo. This dancing form is supposed to have evolved from a few ancient Goan customs, according to historical data.
