Andaman and Nicobar Islands Tourism

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands happens to be one of the most famous tourism destinations in India. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are an island group situated in the mid Bay of Bengal, off the eastern coast of the peninsular India. The Andaman & Nicobar Islands is one of the union territories of India and is a great place to visit for a fine tan and some natural relaxation. The Island conglomerate is mainly divided into the northern Andaman Island and the southern Nicobar Island. The Andaman Island is the tourism destination whereas the Nicobar Island is military grounds having naval and air bases and of course the mighty volcano.

There are many visiting spots in the Andaman with the local sightseeing being strictly concentrated on the historic Port Blair city. It has the famous cellular jail, the huge trading port, the beautiful town, the docks, the tinsel town city and the nearby small islands. People enjoy a day out trip with history and various water activities in the city. Other than this, the Jarwa forest of the Baratang, the Jolly Buoy & Red Skin islands, the natural park of Chiriatapu, the Limestone caves, the beautiful & variant beaches of Havelock and Nil islands lights up every tour. The main mode of communication is cruising and air travel but cars & buses are available for intra island travels.
