Belgaum District, also known as Belgaon, has one of the smart cities in India that is well known for its delicacy and history. The city is located in the Indian State of Karnataka and is popular for its well developed city scape, good standard of living and its tourism. The history of Belgaum is what attracts the people to this city. The city was established during the Rattadynasty reign. Belgaum is the largest sugar producing region of Karanataka and is famous for its milk & spice sweetmeat called Kunda. Being an important city you can travel to other Karnataka cities like Mysore, Mangalore, Bengaluru, Hubli, Bijapur and Gulbarga quite easily.
