Other notable sightseeing sites here are the Maratha Palace, Sivaganga Park, Saraswathi Mahal Library and the ancient Karaikal seaport. Moreover, the Thanjavur paintings, the Carnatic music and Bharatnatyam dance form also make the city a cultural hub. Thanjavur is quite an easy reach for the tourists with all means of travel available to this city.
